November 30th

Well this week was just another week. Thanksgiving wasn't any different. Just we have Chrsitmas everything for two months..they started putting up lights two weeks ago here. Not to many people do it but there are people who do!!! and I will with a tree I got in my house!:)

But this week Francisco, my convert told us we can go talk to his aunt this next week. She doesn't attend any church and she doesn't hate the mormones...those are the best signs I have heard in a long time haha:) Hopefully she's positive and accepts to come to church with Fransisco.
That's what you call a PILAS member. Someone who just go tbaptized and is helping you find others to get baptized and I also heard he's going to go to California, and move there next year. I will totally invite him over to the house for a couple weeks mom and dad, just to let you know;) haha! Anything to help out my converts!:)

Well that's all. In 3 weeks I get to call my parents:))))) I'm super excited and ready to talk to them fo the last Christmas in my mission:)

Adios
Love you guys

November 23rd

Family and friends,
Que pedo? That's a communly used phrase here in El Salvador thats means what's up? or how's it going? (if you dont know what it really means, probably better if you don't look it up) haha!

How are you guys doing? Well I'm doing super good this week, and I think you guys can proabbly tell why???
We had a baptism!!!! Francisco Hernandez is his name. It was a really good baptismal service. We had about a good 15 to 20 people there! Well those are the baptismal services here in the good ole Central America, haha! The best part was that his mom came to support him in his descision and she really liked it.

Also, we had a multi zone this week with 2 other zones and also we did an activity with preach my gospel. The teams were each zone and one person in the zone had to answer a question that President Spjut asked and we had to find the answer in preach my gospel.
And well we are the zone who answered the most questions right! It's because we are a zone of preach my gospel! haha and at the zone conference, we got shots:( nooooooo....  haha!

Well thats it for this week,

TALK TO YOU NEXT WEEK
ELDER FLYGARE

Here are some pictures of the baptism.

November 16th

Well, another week down and next Tuesday we should have a baptism here in my area. It was supposed to be for last week but his mom couldnt go. So this next Tuesday she can go and see it.  I'll send some pictures next week of the baptism.

So also this last week we went and played cage soccer in Cuidad Paraiso (my first zone). So we went there and played against the other zone. Also, the stake president from the other stake came and he played against us. haha! He is pretty young but couldn't run a lot because got tired really quick haha and well this week after I get done writing this email. We are going to go play soccer and other sports in a sports club here by my area against my old zone, ZONE MOLINO. We are definitely going to win. haha, but the cool thing is that this place is free for us as missionaries. I talked to the secretary of the place and he told me that it's free for us to enter. We would just have to pay for food if we wanted to eat there. The secretary just asked me how long so they could have tables set up and everything for us, haha! You can say I got some conections here in El Salvador:= no just kidding, he already did it one time before with the missionaries like 7 months ago. So it was pretty easy to get him to do it again. haha!

But there was something I was studing this week that I want to share with you guys. I was studying in Jesus the Christ and I was thinking, why didn't I ever read that book before the mission. It explains the life of Jesus Christ so well and right now because sometimes it has hard English words I have to look up these words in Spanish to understand it haha. But I am in chapter 11 when its talking about the first disciples of Christ and it says that Andrew and John were the first to start following christ and when Andrew knew that Christ was the messiah he went and told his brother Simon (Peter) that he had found him. Then the next day also Philip did the same with his friend Nathanael.
Now these were soon to become the 12 apostles of Christ and how did they find the lord? Through their family and friends they came too the knowledge of the gospel and found the Christ. How many of us share the gospel with our friends and family that aren't members? Or maybe with them that are not active members? But we don't know the person they can become. We need to do everything to help them recieve the blessings from going to church and commiting to live the commandments.

So this last week we had an activity that went pretty well in the stake. I'll send some pictures of this last week.

Elder flygare out!

November 9th

Well another week in the good ole Primavera!!! Haha, well I love it here in my area. It's a little difficult but the members never stop giving us food;) haha. I just know one day I will regret all this food because I've gained like 30 pounds haha, but everything is good this week.

I just want to explain a little bit about our fecha, Francisco. He is 14 and he listend to the missionaries about 2 years ago. He started going back to church like 2 and a half months ago and it was really hard to get time to talk to him. He has a sister with special need problems so he has to watch after her when his mom is working and his stepdad doesn't like the church so we can't teach him there, but we finally found some time to start teaching him and he should get baptized this week. If not, it's because his mom didn't get work off. She wants to be there and see how the baptism is. She isn't a member but is very supportive. So we will see if she will like to go to church with him Sunday to see the confirmation . We are going to start working with her to see if she would like to go to church. So hopfully she likes it, feels the sirit and acts upon the things she feels and not just sit there and like the pretty message she hears about God. That is something a lot of people here do. They don't want to act on the things they hear or even complete the commandment, but they love the pretty message and are always willing to listen. haha!

So that's about it for this week. I also got a reference from some missionaries in our zone. He is super cool. He went to another church and said he wanted to go again. We will see if we contact him this week and take him to church with us this week. We will see how he progresses, haha!

Well I think that's it.

Love you guys and take care,
Elder Flygare

November 2nd

Well I'm still here in Primavera:) woahhhh haha!

We have one date here. His name is Francisco and he has been going to church for a while and he likes it. He has a ton of friends that are members. and he is super pilas (awesome). He really understands a lot for only having 14 years old and he is one of the smartest youth we have in the ward. He is always answering the questions in the classes, but I will send a picture this next week on the 13th when he gets baptized:) haha!

But other than that the week was pretty normal. Just a lot of my friends got moved up to zone leaders here in the mission:) Elder Reitveld (CCM Companion) and Elder Kisler and Elder Torre. So ya we will be seeing each other a lot more in the meetings we have. haha! Well I don't think there is anything else.

Adios:)
